Robert Gastelum is a trumpet player. He plays jazz as well as other music, like Latin music and Rock as well. He released an album entitled "Outset" in 2007.

He officially started in the music business in 1996 as part of an award winning jazz combo. From then on he has managed to play in many different bands as well as the 2002 Grammy Band and the 2002 Monterey Jazz Festival All-Star Big Band. In 2004 he started his own band and started performing in the Napa Valley. Currently he is still playing with his band and has expanded his performing to other areas such as San Francisco and the surrounding cities.

From 2004 to 2007 he attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music. He received a partial scholarship to attend. At that school he had the opportunity to meet and hang out with some great teachers such as Joe Lovano. Robert had enough of the music education system, so he decided to take a break. He is now focusing on his performance career. Robert has also performed with Delfeayo Marsalis at Sculler's jazz club in Boston, Massachusetts and guitarist Jorge Santana at Copia in Napa, California.

Look for Robert to expand to greater heights musically and business wise. He is on the way to a star!
